Job Description

Main Duties

  • Conduct induction sessions and complete start paperwork for each customer referred to adult engagement provision.
  • Refer customers with specific barriers preventing them from gaining employment to a nominated specialist provider.
  • Assist customers in job search.
  • Deliver work focused training modules to groups and individuals depending upon customer needs.
  • Maintain a caseload of customers from beginning to end.
  • Conduct customer reviews at the contractual frequency.
  • Source work placements that will provide appropriate work related activities in line with the customer’s work focused action plan.
  • Source sustainable employment opportunities for every customer.
  • Maintain company records and documentation to allow the effective management of your caseload.
  • Ensure the relevant Management Information Systems are kept up to date to ensure achievement of all quality Minimum Performance Level’s.
  • Achieve monthly targets set against employment targets and minimum standards laid down by the Operations Manager – Adult Engagement and Contractor’s.
  • Participate in 1:1 monthly performance review with your Operations Manager - Adult Engagement.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an advisory role
  • Good level of Literacy and Numeracy Grade C or equivalent
  • Creative and passionate for employability
  • Ability to develop others
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and spoken English
  • Self-motivated and well organised
  • Excellent IT skills with programmes such as Microsoft Office and Video Conferencing Software
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible and go above and beyond as and when needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with ability to work on own initiative and meet set timescales
  • Effective Customer Care Skills
  • Willingness to undertake personal & professional development in relation to your role and business needs
  • To uphold North Wales Training’s Core Values
  • Hold a full U.K. driving licence and has access to vehicle
