Take on an unemployed young person and Welsh Government will help meet up to 50% of the cost for the first 6 months at the National Minimum Wage for their age, or National Living Wage if applicable.
Kickstart Scheme - 100% of Employment Costs
Employers of all sectors and sizes can apply for funding which covers:
- 100% of the national minimum wage (or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months
- Employer national insurance contributions
- Employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions
£4,000 Recruitment Incentive
Right now, as part of the Governments plan for jobs there are cash incentives for employers to promote the hiring of apprentices. These grants vary between £1,000 to £4,000 per apprentice, depending on age and hours worked. In addition, there is an extra incentive of £1,500 for recruiting an apprentice with a disability.
Free Training Courses for Employees
When completed as part of an Apprenticeship, NVQ's and diplomas can be offered free of charge to the learner and employer and the whole funding process can be handled by us.
